PMPML Announces Temporary Bus Changes for Ganesh Visarjan Procession
Pune: The Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) has announced temporary changes to bus routes and stops for the Ganesh Visarjan procession on September 17, 2024. With key areas like Swargate and Deccan Junction closed to traffic, the PMPML has relocated several bus stops to ensure uninterrupted public transport during the event.
Key temporary bus arrangements include:
1. Swargate Station (Shahu Maharaj Station): Buses towards Katraj and Market Yard via Satara Road will depart from Laxmi Narayan Junction.
2. Natraj Bus Station: Buses going towards Sinhagad Road will depart from Parvati Paitha near Swami Samarth Math.
3. Outside Swargate Station: Buses to Pul Gate, Hadapsar via Solapur Road, Bhawani Peth, Nana Peth, and Rasta Peth will depart from Vega Centre.
4. Deccan Gymkhana Station: Buses towards Kothrud, Malwadi, and NDA Gate will operate from a temporary stop near S.N.D.T. College.
With major roads such as Shivaji Road, Bajirao Road, Laxmi Road, Tilak Road, and Karve Road closed for the procession, PMPML urges passengers to be aware of the changes and cooperate for a smooth travel experience.
