PMPML collects over 3 Lakh fine from ticketless passengers

Pune: From October 1 to October 15 2023, the Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) has collected a fine of over 3 lakh rupees as a penalty from ticketless passengers. This amount was collected during the inspection of buses conducted by PMPML.
As per the information, the PMPML imposes a penalty of Rs 500 for travelling without a ticket in a PMPML bus. As a result, 619 passengers were fined which resulted in a collection of over Rs 3 lakh.
