PMPML slashes bus pass rates
In the recently held board of directors meeting, Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) decided to slash the rates of its bus pass. Now, the PMPML passengers travelling within the Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation limits can pay Rs 40 for a daily pass, while those travelling beyond these two civic jurisdictions will pay Rs 50. The monthly pass can be bought for Rs 900.
Rs 50 pass can be bought by those who want to travel within the both municipal limits, while monthly pass can be bought at Rs 1200. If a traveller wants to travel on all PMPML routes the pass can be bought at Rs 70, while monthly pass is available at Rs 1400.
The board of directors also approved the project of installing Rooftop Solar Project and elevated solar project on all the buildings owned by PMPML.
Group Accidental Insurance – Approval for group accidental insurance of PMPML workers given.
Permanent appointment of 124 workers working in PMPML was approved.
The meeting was attended by Pune Mayor Murlidhar Mohol, Pimpri Chinchwad Mayor Usha Dhore, Commissioner PMC Vikram Kumar and PCMC Commissioner Rajesh Patil, PMPML Chairman and Managing Director Laxminarayan Mishra.
