PMRDA submits proposed preliminary urban town planning scheme plan for Manjri Khurd and Kolwadi to state govt for approval

Pune: The proposed preliminary plan of an area of ​​233.35 hectares for Urban Town Planning scheme of Manjari Khurd and Kolwadi (now Haveli) have been submitted to the state government for approval by Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) recently.  

Over 1500 farm land from Manjri Khurd and Kolwadi have been included in this 233.35 hectares urban planning scheme. For Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) for Housing Scheme 10 plots of 22.33 hectare area will be given. Whereas 111.67 hectares of 153 developed final plots will be available to the beneficiary farmers. And 7.45 hectares will be available for ring roads and 26.01 hectares for internal roads.

“The project has been proposed by PMRDA under urban town planning scheme for Manjri Khurd and Kolwadi and sent to Urban Development department of State government. This project will benefit 1500 farmers and they will get amenities on the 50% place of this project while the other 50% will be used for road construction. Expected funds of ₹100 crores have been proposed by PMRDA and after getting approval the scheme will begin,” said Ramdas Jagtap, Deputy Collector of PMRDA.
