PNC Infratech Wins Two Major Road Projects Worth Over ₹4,630 Crore from MSRDC
On October 15, PNC Infratech Ltd announced it has secured Letters of Acceptance from the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) for two significant Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) road projects.
The first project includes the construction of a controlled-access segment of the Pune Ring Road (Package PRR E2), stretching from Indori to Chimbali in Pune District. This contract, valued at ₹2,268 crore (excluding GST), has a construction timeline of 30 months. PNC Infratech successfully reduced the project cost from an initial bid of ₹2,486 crore.
The second project involves building an access-controlled expressway connector to the Hindu Hrudaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg. This 28.895-km stretch extends from Kumbhari to Katneshwar in the Parbhani district. The contract was awarded for ₹2,362 crore (excluding GST) after negotiations reduced the initial quoted price of ₹2,508 crore. This project also has a construction period of 30 months.
Additionally, PNC Infratech, in partnership with Aakshya Infra Projects Private Ltd, received a Letter of Acceptance from the City & Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra Ltd (CIDCO) for an infrastructure development project under the Navi Mumbai Airport Influence Notified Area (NAINA) initiative.
This project, valued at ₹2,039.61 crore (excluding GST), was secured after negotiations reduced the initial bid from ₹2,090.59 crore. The work involves developing integrated infrastructure, including roads, flyovers, bridges, underpasses, and street lighting across specific areas under the NAINA development project.
