Ahead of the 2024 Maharashtra State Assembly elections, Pune residents are coming together to express their love and concern for Vetal Tekdi, one of the city’s most treasured natural landmarks. On Sunday, October 20, 2024, at 7:30 AM, like-minded citizens will gather at the Aapla Maruti Temple for an informal walk to the Quarry and back. The programme is organised to increase awareness among the voters to choose a candidate who stands with the citizens to save the hills, which are the lungs of the city. The programme is organised by Vetal Tekdi Kruti Samiti.
