Under the restrictions, visitors are prohibited from entering fast-flowing streams or swimming in them, standing beneath waterfalls or sitting in the water flow, taking selfies or filming at dangerous locations, consuming or carrying alcohol at tourist sites, parking vehicles in hazardous areas, driving recklessly, littering public places, harassing women, and playing loud music through DJs, loudspeakers or vehicle-mounted sound systems. Activities causing noise, air or water pollution have also been banned.

The administration has also prohibited the entry of two-wheelers, four-wheelers and other vehicles into the vicinity of waterfalls, dams and riverbanks covered under the order.

The administration has appealed to residents and tourists to strictly comply with the restrictions and cooperate in ensuring public safety. It has warned that anyone violating the orders will face action under the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, and other applicable laws.
