Public hearing on Impact of Drought & Flood by Dr Rajendra Sinh

Pune: TERRE in collaboration with MIT-WPU is organising first non-political Public Hearing on Impact of Drought & Flood to assess and collate public perception of increased impact of climate change. The aim of the event is to find practical ways to reduce the disasters and help rejuvenate nature worldwide. This is to be achieved through dialogues with the public, media environmental organizations, government, communities, and all concerned society members. There is an urgent need for global solidarity to find community-based solutions to this crisis.

The session will be chaired by Rajendra Singh. Waterman of India.The event is scheduled on 04 October 2022 at Seminar Hall, Saraswati Vishwa A Building, 5″ Floor, Besides Chanakya Hall, MIT-WPU, Kothrud, Pune from 10:00 am to 04:30 pm.

The session will be addressed by the following panellist Rajendra Singh. Waterman of India, Dr. Sunil Murlidhar Shastri, Consultant, Educator & Speaker in Ocean & Environmental Governance, Nitin Karmakar, Vice-Chancellor at SPPU, Sarang Yadvadkar, Activist will participate.
