Pune: 19-Year-Old Pregnant Woman Dies by Suicide at Her Home in Kondhwa, Leaves Note Saying ‘I Am Tired of Life’
Police recover note stating she was tired of life; no complaint against anyone mentioned
In a tragic incident from Kondhwa, Pune, a 19-year-old pregnant woman, identified as Khajura Suresh Sunar, was found hanging in her rented home on Wednesday afternoon. The deceased, who was seven months pregnant, is originally from Nepal and had been living in Kondhwa with her husband, Suresh Sunar, a security guard by profession.
According to Kondhwa Police, Khajura was alone at home when the incident occurred, as her husband had left for work earlier that morning. When he returned in the evening and received no response after knocking, he sought help from neighbours to break open the door. Upon entering, he discovered his wife had died by suicide.
The police were immediately informed and reached the scene. Her body was sent to Sassoon General Hospital for post-mortem examination.
During the investigation, authorities found a suicide note at the scene. In the handwritten letter, Khajura stated, “I am tired of life. I have no complaint against anyone.”
The case has been registered as a case of accidental death under standard procedure at the Kondhwa Police Station. Police are continuing inquiries to rule out any possible external factors.
