Pune: 42-year-old man killed in Karve Nagar
A 42-year-old man, Rahul Pandharinath Nivgune, was murdered in his home around 1 AM last night in Karve Nagar. According to police reports, an unknown assailant knocked on his door late at night, and when Nivgune opened the door, the attacker struck him multiple times with a sharp weapon, fatally injuring him.
Nivgune, who worked as a driver, was at home with his wife and three daughters at the time. His daughters witnessed the attack but were unable to identify the assailants, who were wearing masks. The family is in a state of shock, and police said they are currently unable to speak about the incident.
The Warje police have launched an investigation, but no motive has been established, and no arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are working to gather further information.
