Balasaheb Deoras Rugnalay is being developed by Pune Vaidyakiya Seva va Sanshodhan Pratishthan, a public charitable trust established in 2018. The project envisages a multi-specialty charitable hospital with a planned capacity of approximately 800–1000 beds, to be developed in phases. The hospital aims to offer affordable yet advanced medical care across specialties including cardiology, neurology, nephrology and oncology, along with specialised surgical services such as cardio-thoracic surgery, neurosurgery, transplant surgery and joint replacement procedures.
Once fully operational, the hospital is expected to significantly enhance access to specialised and affordable healthcare, particularly for residents in the eastern and southern parts of Pune. The CSR partnership reflects AAI’s continuing commitment to strengthening healthcare infrastructure through initiatives designed to deliver long-term community impact.
