Pune Airport Hit by Microsoft Outage, Administration Reports 'Minor Delays' in Flight Operations
The global Microsoft Azure outage is causing some delays at Pune Airport, according to the administration on Friday. The impact is minimal, with only a few flights delayed by about 10-15 minutes.
“We have very few flights during the day, so Pune Airport hasn’t faced major issues,” said Pune Airport Director Santosh Dhoke.
Pune Airport, which operates mainly at night due to sharing the runway with the Indian Air Force during the day, has managed to avoid major disruptions. Dhoke mentioned, “Airlines are handling boarding manually due to technical issues, causing minor delays. No significant delays have been reported so far.”
