To celebrate the spirit of wellness and creativity, Amanora School joyfully observed International Yoga Day and World Music Day under the theme: “Harmony of Body, Breath & Rhythm.”.The celebrations commenced a week in advance with a meaningful initiative led by our yoga teachers, who organized yoga sessions for teachers, the transport team, and the housekeeping staff. These sessions highlighted the significance of integrating yoga into everyday life and encouraged physical fitness, mental well-being, and mindfulness among all members of the school community.

As part of the week-long celebrations, students across the school enthusiastically participated in competitions centered around the themes “Yoga in Daily School Life,” “Yoga for a Stress-Free Mind,” and “Yoga for World Peace.” Through their thoughtful and creative illustrations, the students demonstrated a deep understanding of the importance of yoga in promoting a healthy, balanced, and harmonious lifestyle, making the events both inspiring and successful.
To celebrate World Music Day, students enthusiastically participated in music-themed competitions across the categories of Indian Musical Instruments, Western Classical Instruments, and Music Garden. Through their creative illustrations, the students showcased remarkable talent, artistic flair, and a deep appreciation of music, making the event a resounding success.The celebration began on an auspicious note with the ceremonial blowing of the conch, symbolizing positivity, purity, and the commencement of a meaningful occasion. Adding a creative and memorable element to the event, students assembled in the shape of a conch, beautifully reflecting its spiritual significance and the values it represents.

The ceremony was followed by the chanting of a soothing mantra, which created an atmosphere of peace, gratitude, and harmony. Students were also sensitized to the importance of yoga in nurturing physical, mental, and emotional well-being, while gaining an appreciation for the transformative power of music in fostering unity, inspiring positivity, and enriching lives.The celebration was further enriched by a series of captivating instrumental and vocal performances presented by our talented students. Their melodious renditions and confident stage presence reflected not only their musical abilities but also their deep passion and appreciation for the art of music.

A highlight of the event was the mass yoga session, where students, teachers, and staff enthusiastically participated in a range of yogic practices, including asanas, pranayama, meditation, and Surya Namaskar. The session emphasized the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle, cultivating inner peace, and maintaining mindfulness in everyday life. It served as a powerful reminder of yoga’s role in enhancing physical fitness, mental clarity, and emotional well-being.
