Pune, 12 December 2025 : In an ongoing effort to build stronger communication between residents and local administration, public representative Amol Balwadkar conducted an extensive संवाद यात्रा across multiple housing societies in Balewadi and Baner. The visit was designed to promote direct dialogue, understand everyday challenges and reinforce a shared approach toward civic development.

Balwadkar described public dialogue as the foundation of accountable leadership. Throughout the tour, he met residents in open and informal conversations, allowing them to speak freely about their concerns, expectations and recommendations for the neighbourhood. Residents highlighted the need for improved internal roads, better functioning streetlights, effective drainage systems to prevent waterlogging and upgraded bus stops along major routes, especially in Baner.

Traffic remained a common point of concern. Residents acknowledged the positive impact of the Traffic Wardens deployed through the Amol Balwadkar Foundation. Many noted that the wardens have helped bring discipline and smoother traffic flow to several parts of Balewadi.

Balwadkar shared detailed updates on ongoing development initiatives, including the 24×7 water supply project, metro construction, river rejuvenation work and other large-scale civic upgrades that will influence the area in the coming years.

He assured residents that every point raised would be followed up systematically, adding that consistent feedback helps ensure that development priorities align with citizens’ actual needs.
