This collaborative effort between the Anandvan Foundation and the Forest Department of Pune was a monumental step towards environmental conservation.

The event saw the esteemed presence of CCF N. R. Praveen and several officials from the Forest Department, Pune, who not only participated in the tree planting but also encouraged ongoing involvement in such drives.

The drive, themed “Ek Pedh Maa ke Naam” or “One Tree in the Name of Mother,” began with an energetic gathering where participants displayed placards and banners, raising awareness about the critical importance of tree plantation.

A ceremonial planting followed, where each volunteer planted a tree dedicated to their mother or a maternal figure, symbolizing gratitude and the nurturing essence of motherhood.
