Pune based laboratories sent show cause notices by PMC
Pune Municipal Corporation has issued show cause notices to city based laboratories, Krsna Diagnostics, Laboratory services Ayugen Biosciences Pvt Ltd and A G Diagnostic Pvt Ltd for delay in sharing reports of Covid19 patients.
The reports of Covid19 patients are mandatory to be sent to the PMC authorities for further action but these laboratories often delayed in sending reports to the civic administration which delayed further process. These laboratories are now asked to respond to the notice sent by PMC on September 7.
PMC ‘s additional commissioner Kunal Khemnar (Estate) has issued show cause notice for shutting down the laboratories and cancelling their licenses to operate laboratories have been issued under the disaster management act and epidemic control act.
