The concerned citizens immediately reported the theft to the local police. Many expressed frustration, pointing out the lack of safety measures in the area, especially considering the number of people who frequently visit the temple as well as the Anandvan Forest. The absence of any CCTV cameras or security personnel was highlighted as a major concern.
Residents are now urging local authorities to install CCTV surveillance around the temple premises and parking areas to prevent such incidents in the future. They believe that proper surveillance could act as a deterrent and enhance safety for devotees and locals alike.
The theft has sparked a discussion about the increasing need for security in public spaces, especially in areas frequented by large groups, to ensure the safety of both citizens and their property.
