Pune, March 8, 2026: A bee attack was reported at the popular hill destination Sinhagad Fort near Pune on Sunday, leaving several tourists stung by honeybees, according to preliminary information received from local sources.

Officials said that a swarm of bees suddenly attacked visitors present at the fort, causing panic among tourists. A few people reportedly suffered bee stings during the incident. However, the exact number of injured individuals has not yet been confirmed.

Authorities have been alerted and a disaster management team has been dispatched to the location. The team is expected to reach the spot shortly to assess the situation and provide necessary assistance to those affected.
