Pune : Body of young girl found in car which drowned in Khadakwasla dam

Pune: In an unfortunate incident, the body of the girl, who drowned in a Hyundai car in Khadakwasla dam has been found by the Mulshi and Sinhagad Disaster Management Committee, fire brigade and local citizens. A case has been registered in Velhe police station in this case.
The unfortunate incident took place at approximately 7 p.m. on Wednesday when the entire family was travelling to their village Panshet. At that time, the driver lost control of the car when the right side tire of his car burst suddenly near Maulai temple in Kuran Budruk village limits. The speeding car plunged into the water of Khadakwasla Dam.
On getting information about the accident, the locals rushed to the spot and rescued all family members from the drowned car but the girl was trapped in the car, couldn’t be found on time, hence, she died.
