Pune: Burglars Break Into Chitale Bandhu Franchise On Baner Road; CCTV Footage Captured
A franchise of Chitale Bandhu, a well-known sweets and snacks brand on Pune’s Baner Road, was targeted in a burglary early Sunday morning, according to Pune city police. The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. when the thieves tampered with the shop’s shutter to gain entry, stealing cash before quickly fleeing the scene.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Himmat Jadhav reported that CCTV footage from the store captured a person involved in the theft, and authorities are working to determine the exact amount stolen. The police have initiated an investigation based on the footage to identify and locate the suspects.
