Pune, September 1, 2025: California Society In Undri concluded its much-awaited Ganapati Fervor 2025 with five days of devotional rituals, cultural events, and heartfelt community bonding, leaving residents with memories to cherish until Bappa’s return next year.
A Celebration of Faith and Festivity
The festival began on August 27 with the traditional Pratishthapana and Aarti, as residents welcomed Lord Ganesha with devotion. The evening was made special with a Pav Bhaji and Pulav counter, bringing a festive culinary touch to the celebrations.
Fun, Food, and Fellowship
On the second day, August 28, the society hosted lively games and a vibrant Tambola Night, followed by a Prasad meal lovingly prepared by the women of the society – a gesture symbolizing unity and shared blessings.
Showcasing Community Talent
Day three, August 29, witnessed a colourful Talent & Dance Night where residents of all ages showcased their artistic side. A Chinese food counter featuring noodles, fried rice, and manchurian added to the lively atmosphere.
Spiritual Connect and Cultural Essence
August 30 began with a Drawing Competition and a Ganpati-making workshop for children, leading into the sacred Satyanarayan Pooja and Haldi Kumkum ritual. The evening was brought alive by a Live Band Performance, followed by a sumptuous three-course Mahaprasad for all members.
An Emotional Farewell
The final day, August 31, was marked by a Morning Aarti, a thrilling Treasure Hunt, and the emotional Visarjan Pooja. Residents bid farewell to Bappa with chants, music, and heartfelt prayers, promising to celebrate with equal fervor next year.
Organisers Meeta and Vijal expressed their gratitude to all residents, emphasizing that the festival’s success was the result of collective enthusiasm and unity.
