Pune: Pune Catering Association demanded relaxation in Covid19 norms.

In their letter written to state government, association demands permission to accomodate more guests with respect to the capacity of Wedding Hall.

Suresh Mali, President, New Pune Catering Association sent letter regarding their demands to state government.

Suresh Mali said, ’10 square feet space is required for safety for one person according to health norms, government can extend this limit upto 25 square feet. We are ready to accept. But, only 50 guests are permitted in wedding ceremony is not acceptable,Government should give permission to more guests with respect to accomodation at respective Wedding Hall.

‘Wedding and allied industries are suffering badly because of losses due to Covid epidemic in second subsequent year. Government has given permission to Malls, Theaters with 50 percent occupancy, it should apply same with wedding industry’, said Suresh Mali.
