Pune CCTV Accident Footage: Another Fatal Accident as Dumper Hits Man in Nandoshi on Sinhagad Road
A tragic incident occurred on Friday, June 14, resulting in the death of a man in a collision with a heavy dumper on Sinhagad Road, Pune. The accident happened around 12:30 PM near Nandoshi.

The deceased, Sanjay Rajaram Babar, 50, from Jawli in Satara district, was struck by the dumper. The driver, Mallikarjun Nilakanthrao Birajdar, 39, a resident of Kirkatwadi, Sinhagad Road, originally from Gulbarga, Karnataka, has been taken into custody by the Haveli police.
Babar had come to work on a well near Manan Ashram in Nandoshi. While walking on the main road, a side dumper unexpectedly swerved to the left, and the driver failed to notice Babar, resulting in the fatal collision. Babar died on the spot.
Eyewitnesses report that after the collision, the dumper driver and other nearby dumper drivers dragged Babar out from under the vehicle and left him by the roadside before fleeing the scene.
A case has been registered against the dumper driver at the Haveli police station. The investigation is being conducted under the guidance of Police Inspector Sachin Wangde. Further details are awaited as the investigation progresses.
