Pune: Voters Registered After July 1 May Lose Voting Rights in PMC Polls, Warns WACO

Pune, 6 November: As per the guidelines of the Election Commission of India, during the 2024 General Election, 14 voting centers temporarily set up in sheds or makeshift structures in the Vadgaon Sheri Assembly Constituency have been relocated to nearby permanent buildings. Election Officer Sachin Baravkar urged voters to take note of these changes and vote at their respective new polling stations.

Voting centers in prominent areas like Lohgaon, Dhanori, Vishrantwadi, and Yerwada have been shifted. 

Changes In Lohegaon Polling Stations:

Balwadkar

Polling center no. 46, originally at Sanskar Public School Lohgaon, Room No. 1, has been moved to Brilliant International Pre-School, Ashray Society, near the market. Similar changes have been made for other polling centers at Sanskar Public School Lohgaon, Rooms No. 2, 3, and 4, now located at the Brilliant International Pre-School.

Changes In Dhanori Polling Stations: 

Polling centers no. 55, 56, 57, 58, and 59, which were initially set up in temporary sheds in Dhanori, have now been relocated to Neuron Labs School, located on Dhanori-Lohgaon Road.  

Polling centers no. 84 and 85 at Vasantrao Anandrao Tingre School in Bhairav Nagar have also been shifted to Gokulam School at Dhanori Road, Bhairav Nagar.

Changes In Vishrantwadi and Yerwada Polling Stations:  

Polling center no. 168 at Acharya Atmavallabh English Medium School, Vishrantwadi, has been relocated to Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Social Justice Bhavan, Shantinagar, Yerwada. Similarly, polling centers no. 329 and 332, previously at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose High School in Yerwada, have been moved to the Annabhau Sathe Cultural and Art Theater.
