Pune: Cleanliness Drive Begins At Rajendra Lonkar E-Learning School In Kondhwa Khurd
Pune, April 25, 2026: A long-pending cleanliness issue at Late Rajendra Lonkar E-Learning School in Kondhwa Khurd has finally been addressed, with the Pune Municipal Corporation initiating cleaning work on the premises.
Akshay Shinde, BJP General Secretary of Hadapsar Assembly said, “The matter had been consistently raised with the authorities, highlighting serious concerns related to hygiene, student health, safety, and the overall learning environment. The issue was considered urgent, given its direct impact on students.”
Following sustained and effective follow-up, the administration took note of the situation. Acting on clear instructions from MLA Yogesh Tilekar and Mayor Manjusha Nagpure, the civic body has now commenced the cleanliness work at the school.
The development has brought significant relief to local residents, parents, and students, who had been grappling with the issue for a long time.
Authorities reiterated their commitment to prioritising students’ welfare and ensuring that such basic civic concerns are addressed promptly, while maintaining the momentum of development works and upholding public trust.
