Known for its illuminated domes, majestic pillars, and depictions of Lord Krishna’s divine pastimes, Vrindavan’s Prem Mandir will be recreated on a grand scale in Pune. According to the organizers, the structure will measure approximately 120 feet in length, 90 feet in width, and 100 feet in height.

The façade of the replica will draw inspiration from marble temple architecture and feature traditional North Indian-style domes and pillars. Sculptural panels depicting Krishna Leelas, including Rasleela, Govardhan Leela, and Jhula Utsav scenes, will adorn the structure. Floral decorations, sacred motifs, and elaborate lighting arrangements are expected to enhance the visual appeal.

A specially designed ornamental gateway will also be erected at Budhwar Chowk to welcome devotees. In addition, running mandaps on both sides of the main structure will showcase various episodes from Lord Krishna’s life.

Trust officials said a grand idol of Radha-Krishna will be installed atop the temple replica, adding to its spiritual and architectural grandeur.

The replica has been designed by Nitesh Kumar in collaboration with Glittery Events Pvt. Ltd.. Organizers believe the Prem Mandir-themed decoration will be one of the major attractions of Pune’s Ganesh Festival this year, drawing thousands of devotees and visitors from across the country.
