Pune : Divine Expression – A solo painting exhibition by Parsharam Sutaar showcases true essence of Maharashtrian culture
Art Pune Foundation is celebrating Maharashtra Din by hosting “DIVINE EXPRESSION” – a solo painting exhibition by senior painter Parsharam V. Sutaar from Mumbai. The exhibition is curated by Priyamvada Pawar and will be on display from Tuesday 2nd May 2023, between 11 am – 7 pm at Raja Ravi Varma Art Gallery, Ghole Road, Shivaji Nagar, Pune and will continue till Sunday May 7.
Art Pune Foundation celebrates Maharashtra Din with a unique thematic painting exhibition, Divine Expressions, by senior painter Parsharam V. Sutaar from Mumbai. The exhibition showcases the essence of Maharashtrian culture and heritage through beautiful oil paintings on canvases.
Parsharam V. Sutaar has been deeply inspired by the natural beauty and relevance of historical monuments at various places in Maharashtra. His paintings incorporate the architectural details of various monumental buildings and the surrounding environment of places of historical importance and cultural relevance. The focus is on famous caves like Ajanta, Ellora, and the iconic Pandharpur and its Wari and warkaris.
The exhibition also features paintings of deities like Lord Buddha, Lord Vishnu, Pandurang, etc., in his unique style, adding a spiritual dimension to the showcase.
Art lovers can experience this mesmerizing representation of Maharashtrian culture and heritage at the Art Pune Foundation, from May 2nd to May 7th, 2023. About Artist:
Parsharam V. Sutar had his art education leading to G.D. Arts (Drawing & Painting) in Sir J.J. School of Arts, Mumbai. Then he displayed his thematic work endowed with the relevant artistic muses and textural finesses and the desired visual effects at strategic arenas in leading art galleries at Mumbai, Nagpur, Taiwan, Taipei, Chennai etc. His presentations in solo and group art exhibitions in these galleries were highly appreciated and commended by the art fraternity. He took part in the art camps organised by Govt. of Maharashtra at Ganpatipule, M.P. Govt. in Bhopal and for the Indian Army based on the gallantry services of Indian Soldiers etc.
A proud recipient of awards from Govt. of Maharashtra and Empire award from Pepsi in 2004, his paintings are in the collections of many renowned art collectors like Reserve Bank of India, Mumbai, Nehru Centre, Mumbai and several reputed art collectors in America, Kenya, England, Goa, Germany etc.
The exhibition is curated by Priyamvada Pawar and hosted by Art Pune Foundation.
