Pune Divisional Commissioner Dr Chandrakant Pulkundwar Appointed As Authorized Officer For PCMC Election Reservation Draw
Pimpri, November 4, 2025: In view of the upcoming general elections of the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), the State Election Commission has appointed Pune Divisional Commissioner Dr Chandrakant Pulkundwar as the Authorized Officer for conducting the reservation draw scheduled on November 11, 2025.
The appointment follows the deputation of PCMC Commissioner Shravan Hardikar as an election observer for the Bihar Assembly elections.
The order, issued under the signature of State Election Commission Secretary Suresh Kakani, authorizes Pulkundwar to oversee the reservation draw process and submit a detailed report to the Commission thereafter.
The Election Department of PCMC has already initiated preparatory work for the reservation draw in coordination with the State Election Commission.
The draw, which determines ward reservations for various categories, will be conducted under the chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner Pulkundwar.
