Pune : Drugs worth Rs 37 lakh seized from Kondhwa, Vishrantwadi and Wanowrie

Drugs such as cocaine, mephedrone & ganja, worth Rs 37,30,000, have been confiscated from Kondhwa, Vishrantwadi & Wanowrie.

As per further information from Pune Police,

•          On 14/02/2024, while patrolling in the staff area, on information received by Police Constable Yogesh Mandhare, a Tanzanian native Hassani Mwinyi Mchonga was found in front of Undri Miracle Life Space Society at Wadachi Wadi, Undri, Pune. Rs 30,40,000 worth of 152 grams of Cocaine was seized from him. A case has been registered under Sections 8(c), 21(c) of the NDPS Act.
•         On 14/02/2024, on information received by Police officer Chetan Gaikwad, 22 grams of Mephedrone (MD) worth Rs 4,50,000 was in possession of a Rajasthan native Kisan Nandkishore Ladhar. A case has been registered against him at Vishrantwadi Police Station under Sections 8 (c), 22 (b) of the NDPS Act.
•          On 15/02/2024, on information received by Police officer Ravindra Rokade, 9 Kgs of Ganja worth Rs 2,40,000 was seized from the possession of Onkar Anil Chandalia. A case has been registered under Section 8 (c), 20 (b) (ii) (b) of the NDPS Act at Wanowrie Police Station.

The action has been taken under the guidance of Commissioner of Pune Police Amitesh Kumar, Joint Commissioner of Pune Police, Pravin Pawar, Additional Commissioner of Pune Police (Crime) Shailesh Balakwade, Deputy Commissioner of Pune Police (Crime) Amol Zende, Assistant Commissioners of Pune Police (Crime) Zone 2 Satish Govekar by Anti Narcotics Squad 2, Crime Branch, Pune City Police Inspector Anita Hivarkar, Police Sub-Inspectors Shubhangi Narke, Digambar Chavan, Shivaji Ghule, Police Constables Yogesh Mandhare, Chetan Gaikwad, Ravindra Rokade, Prashant Bomadandi, Sandeep Jadhav, Mayur Suryavanshi, Disha Khewalkar, Sahil Sheikh, Mahesh Salunke, Sandeep Shelke, Azim Sheikh, Nitin Jagdale, Yuvraj Kamble and Dinesh Bastewad.
