Pune: Drunk Water Tanker Driver Caught In Kale Padal Area; Vehicle Seized
Pune, May 16, 2026: A water tanker driver was caught driving under the influence of alcohol during a routine inspection conducted in the Kale Padal traffic jurisdiction area.
According to officials, the driver identified as Arjun Haridas Biradar (24), resident of Anand Nagar, Lane No. 02, Tarwade Vasti near Desai Hospital, was operating a water tanker bearing registration number MH 12 XM 4077.
During the checking process, the driver was subjected to a medical examination at Sassoon Hospital, where a blood sample was collected for further testing.
Based on the preliminary findings, a case has been registered at Kalepadal Police Station under relevant provisions including BNS 110 and MV Act 281/119. The water tanker has been seized by the police.
