Pune: A fire incident was reported at the Maestro’s Phase 2 residential building located on Salunkhe Vihar Road in Wanowrie on Monday night around 10 PM, causing panic among residents for a brief period. 

The fire broke out on the ground floor of the building, where electric meters were installed, and quickly spread to nearby parked vehicles. Two two-wheelers and two four-wheelers were damaged in the blaze.

Upon receiving information, the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) fire brigade rushed to the spot and launched immediate firefighting operations.

Firefighters acted swiftly and efficiently, managing to bring the flames under control before they could spread to the upper floors of the building. Their timely intervention helped avert a potentially serious situation and prevented further damage to residential flats.

Residents were alerted and safety measures were put in place as a precaution, while the affected area was secured. Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported in the incident, providing relief to residents and authorities alike.

The exact cause of the fire is yet to be confirmed, and officials are expected to conduct a detailed inspection to determine the source of the blaze.
