Pune: Fire Breaks Out In Ivy Estate Botanica Building, One Suffered Minor Injured
Fire broke out in a flat located in Ivy Estate’s Botanica Society in Wagholi. The fire broke out in the fifth floor apartment of the building in the living room. The material got completely damaged in the incident. There were five people inside the house sleeping in the bedroom, including one child and one senior citizen. But a relative of the family suffered breathlessness due to the smoke that erupted from the fire. The incident took place early in the morning. Four members of the family, including two kids and husband and wife were sleeping in the bedroom and a senior citizen was sleeping in the living room who observed the fire and reported the incident. The woman in the house safely rescued the children from the house first and the senior citizen averted a major tragedy.
The incident was reported by a resident living in a nearby society. The exact cause of the fire was unknown. The air conditioning system in the house exploded and was completely damaged in the incident. The senior citizen suffered minor injury in the incident. The fire was contained by the fire brigade officials. Wagholi Police Station’s Senior Police Inspector Pandit Rejitwad visited the spot.
