Pune: Fire breaks out in seven-storeyed building on Bhandarkar Road

Pune- A fire broke out in an office on the seventh floor of a building on Bhandarkar Road around 1 pm. As soon as the fire personnel reached the location, they ensured no one was trapped on the floor and started a spraying water with the help of a hose pipe. Due to their timely interference, no casualties or deaths were reported as they preferred to evacuate workers from the place immediately.

Fire broke out in an apartment on Prabhat Road near Kamla Nehru Park today afternoon. The building was commercial therefore, there were many offices set up there. A huge danger has been averted as the firemen worked diligently to extinguish the fire in time and avoid its spread to nearby areas. The cause of the fire is unknown. Fire officers Rajesh Jagtap, Gajanan Pathrudkar, and around 20 other personnel are working at the spot under the guidance of fire chief Devendra Potphode.
