Pune Fire Brigade Rescue Cleaner from Deep Pit in Sahakar Nagar

On 23rd June, in a tragic incident at Dnyanadeep Society, Sahakar Nagar No 2, a cleaner fell in the pit, created for parking. Fire brigade personnel reached to the spot from the Janata Agni Shaman Kendra.

As soon as the fire fighters reached the spot, they saw cleaner Tukaram Dethe, resident of Chavan Nagar, Pune, doing cleaning work on the ground floor of the five-storied building of Dnyandeep Society. He lost his balance and fell down into the pit.

The fire fighters, while communicating with the concerned cleaning worker who was in an injured condition, pulled him out with the help of a ladder in about 15 minutes using a chair. As his hand and leg was hit, he was immediately sent to the hospital for further treatment in Government Ambulance No 108.

Sagar Devkule, fire engine driver of Janata Agni Shaman Kendra, Tandel Sandeep Ghadshi and fire fighters Mahendra Sakpal, Shailesh Gore, Ashish Jadhav, Vijay Waghmare helped to save the injured cleaner.
