Pune is gearing up to host the prestigious Army Day Parade on January 15, 2025, showcasing the Indian Army’s evolving capabilities, emphasizing inclusivity, technological innovation, and a deep connection with the nation’s citizens. The parade promises to be a grand spectacle, celebrating India’s military heritage and ongoing advancements.

The Army Day Parade will feature several contingents, including the Women Agniveer Contingent, led by the Corps of Military Police, which represents the increasing role of women in the Army. The parade will also showcase state-of-the-art equipment, such as the K-9 Vajra howitzer, BMP-2 Sarath infantry combat vehicle, and T-90 tanks.

In addition to the contingents and equipment, the parade will also highlight technological innovations, including AI-driven decision-making, drone swarms, blockchain logistics, and 5G-enabled battlefield communication. Thematic tableaux will also be displayed, depicting the Army’s focus on fostering sports excellence, commitment to sustainability and climate resilience, and advancements in AI, robotics, and cyber defense.
