In a remarkable academic achievement, Ravi Namjoshi, a student from Pune’s M.S. Golwalkar Guruji Vidyalaya, has scored a perfect 100% in the Class 10 (SSC) board exams — and she did it without enrolling in any coaching classes. Her outstanding performance places her among the top 13 students from the Pune division who achieved full marks this year.
According to official data, a total of 13 students from the Pune division secured 100% scores in the SSC exams. Of these, Solapur district produced the highest number with seven students, while the remaining six hailed from Pune district. The trend of students scoring exceptionally high marks has been steadily rising in recent years, with an increasing number now crossing the 90-95% threshold.
Ravi Namjoshi’s accomplishment is particularly noteworthy, as she managed to reach this milestone purely through self-study, discipline, and the guidance of her parents and school teachers. Reflecting on her journey, Ravi said, “The exam was easy, but I honestly didn’t expect to get full marks. I didn’t take any tuition for any subject.”
She emphasized the importance of consistent study habits over rigid schedules. “I didn’t follow a fixed number of study hours daily, but I maintained regularity in my studies and focused a lot on practice,” she shared.
Ravi’s dedication has now inspired her next academic move — she plans to pursue the science stream in Class 11, driven by her interest in fundamental scientific research. “I want to do research in basic science. That’s why I’ll be choosing the science stream going forward,” she added. Her story serves as a shining example of how determination, consistency, and strong support from family and teachers can help students achieve extraordinary success — even without the crutch of coaching classes.
