Pune: Grand Saraswati Puja Celebration at Ivy Estate Draws Over 5,000 Participants
The Saraswati Puja celebration at Ivy Estate was a grand success, with more than 5,000 people attending the event. Organized by Vaishali Sanskritik Sanghatana (VSS) for the first time on an open platform, the event brought the community together in a vibrant display of devotion and culture.

The Puja was held on February 2, 2025, and the highlight was the Vidyarambh Sanskar, where around 250 children took part in this special ceremony that marked the beginning of their learning journey. It was heartwarming to see the excitement and joy on the faces of the children and their families.
On February 3, 2025, the Visarjan procession took place, passing through all the societies of Ivy Estate and Ivy Botanica. The colorful and lively procession was filled with devotional songs, dances, and enthusiastic participation from residents.
The Visarjan was done with great devotion at Triveni Sangam in Tulapur, a sacred spot that added spiritual significance to the farewell of Goddess Saraswati.
The celebration included beautifully decorated pandals, traditional rituals, cultural performances, and devotional songs. People dressed in traditional clothes, adding to the festive atmosphere.

Special thanks to the organizing team, volunteers, and sponsors whose hard work made the event smooth and successful. Their dedication was visible in every part of the event, from the well-planned arrangements to the warm hospitality.
The Saraswati Puja not only strengthened community bonds but also helped children connect with their cultural roots. VSS looks forward to organizing more such events to promote unity, tradition, and learning within the community.
