At this venerable emporium, an array of flags tailored for diverse occasions is meticulously crafted, utilizing premium Khadi and Satin materials. The available sizes cater to all preferences and budgets, ranging from modest Rs 30 offerings to more intricate pieces priced at Rs 30,000. Over the years, the shop has witnessed a steady influx of patrons seeking to embrace patriotic symbols through their purchases. However, the ongoing ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign has ushered in an unprecedented surge in flag procurement, particularly in anticipation of the impending Independence Day festivities, evoking a profound sense of gratification and accomplishment.

Sunil Vihani, the proprietor of Rashtriya Khadi Bhandar Shop, nestled in the heart of Budhwar Peth, shared his perspective on this enduring tradition. The shop, renowned for its exclusively Khadi-based flag creations, offers a range spanning from Rs 100 to Rs 1000, catering to a diverse clientele. In a similar vein, Shahrukh Shaikh, a vendor specializing in Tricolour Decorations, positioned near the Pasodya Vithoba Mandir, offered insights into a parallel aspect of the campaign’s impact. Shahrukh revealed the initiation of sales for tricolour-themed decorative materials, including vibrant buntings and assorted embellishments.
