Pune, January 17, 2025: The Chatuhshrungi police have registered an FIR against Yogesh Jamdar, 44, a director of an information technology company, for multiple offences, including forgery, defamation, harassment, and outraging the modesty of women in Supriya Towers Cooperative Housing Society, Aundh.

The complaint was filed by society chairman Dattatreya Janardhan Salunkhe, alleging that Jamdar has been harassing the society since 2017. His actions reportedly forced a former secretary to sell his flat and leave due to relentless threats and harassment.

According to the FIR, Jamdar used obscene and abusive language, made threatening gestures towards women residents, and clicked their photos and videos without consent, which he later uploaded on social media. He also allegedly forged a letter from ex-minister Vishwajeet Kadam, using it to file complaints and demand the demolition of the society’s temple, hurting the religious sentiments of the residents.

Further allegations include freezing the society’s bank account, causing significant inconvenience to the residents, and frequently threatening them with legal action or claiming he owned a gun. During a society meeting in November 2024, real estate developer Jayant Kulkarni, a resident, reportedly suffered a fatal heart attack due to the stress caused by Jamdar’s behavior.
