Two Terror Suspects Arrested In Mumbai For Alleged Toy Car Bomb Plot In Delhi
Pune, March 7, 2026: Police in Shivajinagar have arrested a 28-year-old IT professional for allegedly engaging in obscene acts inside his car near a college in the area.
The accused, Pranav Kedar Vaze, a resident of Model Colony with an international education background, was taken into custody by officials from the Shivajinagar Police Station following a complaint filed by the college authorities after female students reported the incident.
According to police, the incident came to light on March 4 around 12:45 pm, when a group of female students noticed the man behaving indecently while sitting inside his parked car outside the college campus. The students immediately informed a female director at the college, after which the institution lodged a formal complaint with the police.
During the investigation, police traced the vehicle and identified the suspect as Vaze. Officials said he allegedly sat inside his parked car, lowered his trousers and engaged in inappropriate acts while watching female students passing by. Investigators believe similar incidents may have been occurring in the area since October 2025, though they were reported only recently.
Police subsequently detained and arrested the accused. Authorities said further investigation is underway to determine whether more such incidents took place in the vicinity.
