Pune: Kondhwa and Kalepadal Police Stations To Host ‘Run For Unity’ On October 31
Pune, October 30, 2025: To mark the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Pune Police will organise a ‘Run for Unity’ across all police stations on October 31. The event is aimed at promoting national unity and paying tribute to the Iron Man of India.
In Kondhwa and Kalepadal, the police stations under the Pune Police Commissionerate have also planned special runs as part of the citywide initiative. The runs will be held under the guidance of Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar and Dr Rajkumar Shinde, Deputy Commissioner of Police Zone 5, Pune Police.
At Kondhwa Police Station, the event will be organised by Senior Police Inspector Kumar Ghadge. It is scheduled to start at 6 AM from Lonkar Lawns, NIBM Road, Kondhwa go further till Tribeca high street for [3 kms] and Raheja Vista Circle (5 kms).
Meanwhile, the Kalepadal Police Station will conduct its Run for Unity under the leadership of Senior Police Inspector Mansingh Patil. The run will also begin at 6 AM from Shriram Chowk, Handewadi Road. To participate in the event you can also click on the link for participating in Kalepadal Run / Walk. Both events aim to bring together residents, police personnel, and youth to honour Sardar Patel’s vision of a united India.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also urged citizens nationwide to actively participate in the Run for Unity, reaffirming the ideals of national integrity and togetherness on this special occasion.
