In a crackdown on counterfeit products, the Hadapsar police have lodged a case against a cloth seller for allegedly selling fake PUMA brand clothes. The accused, identified as Sachin Gangadhar Narwade Patil, 30, was found selling counterfeit clothes with the PUMA logo, duping customers and causing financial losses to the company.
The complaint was lodged by Madhuri Verma, 39, a resident of Mumbai and an official of the PUMA company. According to the complaint, Patil was selling fake PUMA clothes, causing harm to the company’s reputation and resulting in financial losses.
