Pune Metro to Begin Operations from 6 am everyday from August 17
Pune Metro commuters will find it easy to commute to their desired destination anytime now as all Metro trains will start commuting from 6 am daily from 17th August 2023.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, Dr Hemant Sonawane, Executive Director Public Relations And Administration, Pune Metro, said “Keeping in mind the demand of metro passengers, from August 17, Pune Metro will start it’s trains from 6 am onwards daily. Also, if there is demand, the current daily end time of metro trains will be extended to 11 pm instead of 10 pm.”
As per information from Sonawane, this timing will be applicable for all metro trains in the city. Also, all the upcoming stations, after their inauguration, will have the same timings i.e. 6 am to 11 pm.
With this development, it will be possible to catch the 7:15 am Deccan Queen from Pune station to Mumbai too.
Metro trains were in high demand starting at 6 a.m. As a result, the Pune Metro did a study on this. At the moment, the metro trains run from 7 am to 10 pm.
Many commuters, including office workers who must catch express trains from the station, students whose colleges open early, and other travellers, required the early morning service in order to get there on time.
From 17th August onwards, everyone can travel to their desired place on time with metro trains functioning from 6 am daily.
