Mumbai, July 3, 2025 – In the ongoing Monsoon Session, MLA Bapusaheb Pathare raised serious concerns over the non-approval of the development plan (DP) for Lohegaon and other villages merged into Pune Municipal Corporation.

He highlighted that the delay is hampering local development works and affecting citizens’ basic needs.

Despite the development plan being prepared by PMRDA, it is still pending state government approval. As a result, permissions for house construction in these areas are stalled.

Furthermore, there are major hurdles in setting up essential infrastructure like water supply, drainage systems, roads, parks, government schools, and hospitals.

“It is urgent that this development plan be approved immediately for the sake of citizens’ basic needs and planned urban growth,” demanded Pathare during the session.
