Pune Civic Body Proposes Rs 67.3 Crore Underpass To Ease Traffic Congestion Near MundhwaÂ
The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) carried out a major administrative reshuffle on Tuesday under the direction of Commissioner Dr. Rajendra Bhosale. The restructuring involved reallocating departmental responsibilities among officials. Despite significant lobbying for top roles such as those in the Revenue and Solid Waste Management departments, current officials in these positions will remain unchanged.
Here are the details of the new appointments:
– Jayant Bhosekar has been assigned to the Motor Vehicle Department, Backward Class Department, and Zone 4.
– Nitin Udas will handle the Social Development Department, Welfare Department, and the Disability Complaints Redressal Center.
– Avinash Sapkal is now in charge of PMC Zone Two.
– Madhav Jagtap takes over the Tax and Taxation Department.
– Vijay Landge will manage the Local Body Tax and Census Department.
– Sandeep Kadam will oversee the Solid Waste Management Department.
– Yunus Pathan is responsible for the Slum Rehabilitation Department.
– Kishori Shinde will look after the Inventory and Sports Department.
– Somnath Bankar is assigned to handle Anti Encroachment Cell and Security.
– Pratibha Patil will manage General Administration and Land Acquisition.
– Mahesh Patil is in charge of Competency, Property Management, Election Department, and Disaster Management.
– Raju Nandkar will oversee the Training Institute, Legislative Coordination, and PMC Housing Management.
– Sanjay Shinde will manage the Information Technology, Environment, and Public Relations Social Media departments.
– Chetna Kerure will handle Zone Five.
– Asha Raut is responsible for Zone 3 and Primary and Secondary Education.
– Prashant Thambore will oversee the Sky Sign Department and Printing Press.
– Sunil Ballal will manage the Cultural and Market Departments.
This restructuring aims to streamline operations and improve efficiency within the PMC.
