Pune Municipal Corporation Receives 30 Headphones for Visitors Participating in Heritage Walk

The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has made arrangements for 30 headphones during the upcoming heritage walk on 11th June 2023. The walk will span from Shanivarwada to Vishrambaugwada, allowing participants to listen to informative details while navigating the bustling streets.

Sunil Mohite, the Executive Engineer of the Heritage Department at PMC, explained the need for headphones during the heritage walk. He stated, “The heritage walk takes visitors through busy streets of Pune, which are often crowded with traffic. To ensure clear communication, PMC has arranged 30 headphones from the upcoming heritage walk on 11th June. This will enable visitors to hear every piece of information shared by our knowledgeable guides.”

The heritage walk has gained immense popularity among Punekars and visitors alike, evident from the numerous registrations received thus far. The initiative, undertaken by PMC, aims to showcase the historical significance of the 11 structures located between Shaniwarwada and Vishrambagwada.

The heritage walk is scheduled for 11th June at 7 am, with a reporting time of 6:50 am at the meeting point, Dilli Darwaza, Shanivarwada. Participants can register for the event at https://heritagewalk.pmc.gov.in/.

The PMC encourages all residents of Pune to join the heritage walk and enjoy the enriching experience of exploring the 11 famous spots from Shanivarwada to Vishrambaugwada.
