The digital transformation initiative was implemented under the leadership of Municipal Commissioner Naval Kishore Ram, with support from Additional Municipal Commissioners Pavneet KaurPrajit Nair, and Omprakash Divte, along with the corporation’s Information Technology Department.

Over the past few years, PMC has undertaken a comprehensive digital modernization drive that included a complete overhaul of its official website, revamping of multiple digital systems, development of citizen-centric online services, and integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based solutions into civic administration.

The PMC team presented the project before an expert evaluation committee in New Delhi. Following a rigorous national-level assessment process, PMC 360 was selected for the prestigious recognition.

The project was implemented through coordinated efforts across various municipal departments, focusing on enhancing efficiency, transparency, and public accessibility.

Under the PMC 360 initiative, the civic body has introduced a modern technology-enabled website, an integrated online services portal, advanced grievance management and analytics systems, and citizen engagement services through WhatsApp. The platform enables residents to access information, register complaints, track service requests, and interact with the municipal administration more conveniently.

PMC has also begun leveraging Artificial Intelligence across several civic projects to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.

Officials said the initiative has significantly enhanced the speed, transparency, and reliability of municipal services, helping Pune emerge as one of India’s leading cities in digital governance.

The civic administration described the award as a recognition of the collective efforts of PMC officials, employees, technology partners, and citizens who have contributed to the success of the digital transformation journey.

With the PMC 360 initiative, the Pune Municipal Corporation aims to further strengthen its vision of smart governance and citizen-centric administration, setting a benchmark for urban local bodies across the country.
