Pune News: Arvind Mittal’s Three-Decade Journey in English Theatre, From Actor to Acclaimed Author and Trainer

Arvind Mittal is an actor, director, scriptwriter, author, and trainer with 30 years of experience in English theatre. He has performed in over 200 shows and written nine children’s books. Mittal conducts sessions on “The Art of Story Telling,” “Theatre Workshops,” “Personality Development,” “Presentation Skills,” and “Upskill Programs.”
Arvind Mittal, a multifaceted personality, has had an illustrious career spanning three decades in English theatre. As an actor, director, scriptwriter, author, and trainer, Mittal has made a significant impact.
Mittal’s journey began in 1989 with his first performance in Hyderabad’s “The Good Doctor Series.” From humble beginnings as a cook to gracing stages worldwide, Mittal’s perseverance has been pivotal. With over 200 shows across Hyderabad, Bangalore, Visakhapatnam, Pune, and Canada, Mittal’s notable performances include “Fiddler on the Roof” and shows at the NDA, Corinthian Club, Boat Club, Residency Club, Nehru Hall, and Mahatma Phule Hall. He is a resident of Ganga Satellite society in Wanowrie, Pune.
The COVID-19 pandemic sparked Mittal’s writing journey, resulting in nine children’s books, including “Please Help Us Live.” Upcoming works include “The Mystic Tree,” “Me & My Baby,” and “The Art-is-te” (a movie script). Mittal conducts engaging sessions on “The Art of Story Telling” and “Theatre Workshops” for children.
Mittal has raised funds for St. Patrick’s School and Rotary Clubs through his performances. Associated with institutions, clubs, and corporate companies pan-India, Mittal’s contributions extend beyond theatre. He has worked with the Rotary Clubs in Hyderabad and Pune and the Free Masons Organization.
Despite financial hurdles, Mittal’s determination has ensured success. Self-funding productions and persevering through adversity have been key. Audiences eagerly await Mittal’s upcoming “Supper Theatre Play,” “Mere Sasurji,” a hilarious one-hour comedy.
