Pune: Arsh Bhopatkar, an 11-year-old boy from Balewadi, Pune released his first adventure novel, ‘The Adventure of the Palace of Manner’ in a book launch ceremony held on December 2.
As per information, inspired by his mother, who also writes books, Arsh started it as a summer project. He continued to write the chapters filled with new adventures even when his school started. Initially, he took help from his mother, father & sister to type.
To become independent, he learned how to use voice typing, so that he would not have to wait to pen down his ideas! With his mom doing the final editing & proofreading, and his father & sister creating the pictures & the cover page, this became a family project which they all thoroughly enjoyed, spending quality time with each other. Arsh has now started writing his second book!
The book was launched by a renowned author Mrunalini Chitale, a seasoned writer with 21 published works. Chitale praised Arsh’s creativity, commended his language skills, and applauded his determination to see the book getting launched.
The presence of his family, friends and school teachers was very motivating for him which also contributed to the success of the publication ceremony of his first book.
Arsh read out his favourite lines from the book and was happy to sign all the books bought by family, friends during the launch. He gifted the first few copies of the book to his grandparents & teachers, to show them his appreciation for their blessings & guidance.
