Pune, January 21, 2025: Traffic chaos ensued on NDA-Pashan Road near Ramnagar Colony, Bavdhan, as a roadside pani puri vendor set up an illegal stall, causing public inconvenience and safety concerns. The incident occurred around 7:10 PM, drawing the attention of law enforcement authorities.

The accused, identified as Tinku Mantrilal Baghel (30), a resident of Bavdhan Khurd, Mulshi, Pune, was found selling pani puri from a makeshift stall on the roadside. His actions led to the gathering of a crowd, disrupting the flow of traffic and posing a danger to both pedestrians and commuters.  

The Bavdhan Police, led by Constable Bandulal Shyamray Jaybhay, acted promptly, issuing a notice under Section 35 of the Indian Penal Code for public nuisance and illegal encroachment. The accused has been warned and the matter is being investigated further.

Sub-Inspector Thakur, the investigating officer, emphasized the importance of maintaining order on public roads and urged vendors to avoid obstructing traffic. Authorities have reiterated that such actions not only inconvenience the public but also endanger lives.
